About Our Practice
Located in the Doctor's Center across from Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital -- "inside the Perimeter"-- in Sandy Springs, Georgia (North Atlanta), our practice is recognized as Georgia's leader in comprehensive women's healthcare. We have the most experience providing women with the highest level of gynecological care. We are compassionate and dedicated. Although our practice is located in Atlanta, Georgia, women travel from across the country and the world to receive personalized care from us. We can assist patients with traveling to Atlanta.
Our goal is to make sure that patients have an opportunity to be heard and have their concerns addressed with compassion. We utilize the latest technology to provide patients with superior services and the highest quality of care. We are committed to providing patients with the most cost-effective care. For patients without insurance, or using out of network benefits, we are able to provide excellent fee arrangements.
We are well known for taking on the most challenging surgical cases and cases that others say are impossible. While many physicians may offer patients just one option for managing their condition, we have the knowledge and experience to offer our patients several options. We then work together with our patients to come up with the best individualized plan of care.
Although we do not deliver babies anymore, we help women get pregnant. Unless a woman does not desire future fertility, our surgeries are designed to preserve and, when necessary, promote fertility. Many of our patients have gone on to deliver healthy babies after having surgery with us.
Our record speaks for itself. For example, we once removed an 18 pound fibroid from a patient without performing a hysterectomy. We have also removed more than 150 fibroids from a patient while preserving her uterus for future childbearing.
Dr. Randell recently developed a unique procedure he calls RIGHT (Randell Improved Gynecologic Hysterectomy Technique) surgery, which allows him to perform an outpatient minimally invasive hysterectomy on women with large fibroids through fewer tiny incisions. He achieved this by building on surgical principles learned with robotics over the last decade and eliminating some incisions and instruments. With his RIGHT surgery, he is able to ensure the most minimally invasive and safest surgery for his patients. He also use this approach to remove fibroids in those women who desire to keep their uterus.
In addition to our exceptional patient care, we are known as educators. Other surgeons from around the Country come to Atlanta to observe our work.
